Mount Carmel Mission School

This school year in Mount Carmel Mission School, we have 300 students (ages 4 to 11 years). Out of 300 kids, there are only two Christian students. The rest of them have a Hindu or Muslim background. Right now, our school offers classes from preschool to 5th grade. MCM school is located in Thondebhavi, about 35 miles from Bangalore city. With one school bus, we are covering 35 villages and about 166Kms (82 Miles). Since we have only one school bus, we are forced to start the School assembly at 10:15A.m. singing our school song, “This is the day that the Lord has made.. We are the children of the Living God.” And all the students confess together Psalm 23 “The Lord is my shepherd ……I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever” And after that, they say the Lord’s Prayer.
